The victim was identified as Marcus Leroy Williams, 23, and was reportedly walking around the area 'fully nude' when he was shot.
The driver that shot Williams was not identified by police. Police did not provide any further information on the gun that was used or how many shots were fired.
The Birmingham Police Department said that as they continue their investigation, anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to come forward. In addition to the naked man, the Birmingham Police Department said they were investigating another fatal shooting. At around 2:20 a.m. local time on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to 1313 3rd Avenue North following reports of an individual shot. When they arrived on scene, the victim was"lying unresponsive on the walkway of the property suffering from an apparent gunshot wound."
