A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash which closed a busy road over the border in Langley Mill. The driver of a red Mazda 3 was left with injuries, not thought to be life-threatening, following the single car collision on Friday at 3.20pm .
Derbyshire Police said the A608 Station Road reopened just before 5pm. A spokesman for the force said: "We were called to a report of a collision in Station Road, Langley Mill, at 3.20pm on Friday 15 September. The collision involved a red Mazda 3 with the driver being taken to hospital for treatment with his injuries not thought to be life-threatening."
"Station Road in Langley Mill near Asda has been closed following a single car collision," Derbyshire Constabulary earlier said on X, formerly Twitter. "Please find alternative routes as traffic is very busy as a result."
