Driver seriously injured in rollover crash on Interstate 15 in North County [Breaking]
A woman suffered serious injuries when she crashed her Jeep into the center divider on Interstate 15 in North County on Monday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near Old Highway 395 and the boundary between Fallbrook and Rainbow. The impact caused the Jeep to overturn. The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown into a back seat, according to the California Highway Patrol and North County Fire Protection District.Firefighters freed the woman, whose woman’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening, the CHP and fire department said. She was taken to a hospital.
