Driver hurt, passenger dies after pickup crashes into brick wall in front of El Cajon home [Breaking]
A passenger in a pickup truck died and the driver was seriously injured when the vehicle slammed into a brick wall in El Cajon early Monday, police said.
Police said the driver was heading west on Greenfield Drive shortly before 2 a.m. when she lost control of the black 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. The pickup collided with a curb and then a brick wall in front of a home near Coy Court, police said.The passenger, a 45-year-old man, died at the hospital. The 37-year-old driver was expected to survive her injuries, police said.The El Cajon Police Department asked anyone with information about the collision to call 579-3311.
