A woman died Sunday afternoon after a red light runner slammed into her car in Conroe, officials said.FATAL CRASH:Police said a pickup truck heading west on West Davis ran a red light at the Interstate 45 southbound feeder, hitting a southbound minivan around 2 p.m.
The minivan’s lone occupant was trapped for close to 30 minutes while firefighters attempted to cut her out, authorities told the Montgomery County Police Reporter. She died at the scene. One person in the truck was taken to the hospital in stable condition, while the truck driver was detained. The Conroe Police Department is investigating.
