BREAKING: Phoenix Police say a teenage boy has died from his injuries after being shot on Friday.
"A vehicle occupied by multiple people was driving through a parking lot when another vehicle drove past and began shooting at them," read a portion of a statement released by Phoenix Police Sergeant Melissa Soliz.
Investigators say a teenage boy inside one of the cars was shot, and a child who was walking in the area with an adult family member was also shot. The teen was in the hospital in critical condition and on Feb. 7, police say he died – he's identified as 15-year-old Isaac Perez Grado. The other victim is going to be OK.
The suspect vehicle fled before police came, and detectives are still trying to figure out who is responsible.Anyone with information is asked to contact Phoenix Police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
