Time heals all wounds, but Harrison Barnes apparently is still mad at Draymond Green for the role the Warriors forward played in bringing Kevin Durant to the Bay.
Barnes was an important part of the Warriors team that went 73-9 and lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals. Barnes shot just 35 percent during that NBA Finals loss in which the Warriors blew a three-games-to-one lead over LeBron James and the Cavs.
The North Carolina product's struggles were magnified during the final three games of the 2016 NBA Finals. In Games 5, 6 and 7, Barnes shot 5-for-32 from the field and 3-for-15 from 3-point range. During the Warriors' Game 6 loss, he went 0-for-8 from the field and didn't score a point. Regardless of how Barnes played in that series, if you have a chance to get a player of Durant's stature, you do it 10 times out of 10.
It's understandable why Barnes would feel like he was scapegoated for the Warriors' collapse. But, in the end, it was a no-brainer decision for Myers and the Warriors to add Durant and create arguably the most unstoppable team in NBA history.
