On the heels of the franchise's big-screen return, Dragon Ball villain Frieza becomes a Xenomorph in new Alien crossover art. The iconic and overpowered villain Frieza is a staple of the Dragon Ball franchise and nearly destroyed the Saiyan race. The adversary who killed Goku's childhood best friend Krillin, Frieza instigated Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation. Frieza has used four different forms during his time in the franchise, increasing in power each time.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shussett, the Alien franchise launched with Ridley Scott's eponymous 1979 sci-fi horror movie in which the crew of a commercial space tug ship came under attack from the deadly extraterrestrial threat known as the Xenomorph. A formidable franchise in its own right, Alien boasts video games, multiple sequels, and an upcoming TV series from Fargo creator Noah Hawley.

Having died and come back to life several times, Frieza seemed to be alive and well in the latest installment of the Dragon Ball franchise, 2022's Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. In the Gohan and Piccolo-centered movie, Frieza appeared briefly in his ship's command room and was mentioned by Goku.
