Downton Abbey: A New Era drops first look at behind-the-scenes series
"It's absolutely jam-packed full of stuff," she previously said."There's so much going on. I mean, it's funny. I laughed out loud a lot. There's stuff that made me cry because there's some romance and stuff you don’t expect."I suppose that's what I also love about it. I mean, I know what happens, but there'll be stuff that the audience couldn't possibly foresee.
The film's mammoth cast list includes returning faces Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Joanne Froggatt, Harry Hadden-Paton, Robert James-Collier, Allen Leech, Phyllis Logan, Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera, Tuppence Middleton, the aforementioned Lesley Nicol, Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton and Penelope Wilton, while the new cast members are: Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, Dominic West and Jonathan Zaccaï.
