BREAKING Double stabbing terror as emergency services scrambled to residential street
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were stabbed on a street in Preston.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary and North West Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and a cordon was put in place on Shelley Road, between Roebuck Street and Eldon Street.Police have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody. The injuries are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
"The two victims, a man in his 20s and a man in his 50s, were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries. A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody."
