Double ‘Jeopardy!’: Why so many people on Twitter are furious about the two new hosts:
“Jeopardy!” has finally named replacement hosts after its beloved emcee Alex Trebek died last year — and viewers are buzzing in with plenty of feedback.
Yet despite the reported legwork, the decision received mixed reactions from fans on Twitter. TWTR, -0.33% The names of both hosts, as well as snubbed potential picks such as “Reading Rainbow” and “Star Trek” actor LeVar Burton, were trending after the “Jeopardy!” announcement on Wednesday afternoon.
