Former Attorney General Eric Holder made a prediction that if Donald Trump could likely face another impeachment if he's elected after a potential conviction.
Trump is facing 37 federal charges surrounding accusations that Trump mishandled classified documents after leaving the White House, which include charges of violating the Espionage Act, making false claims, and conspiracy to obstruct justice. Additionally, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Trump regarding alleged hush money payments made to cover up extramarital affairs before the 2016 election.
“At that point, I would hope that it impeachment proceeding might be considered. Not only considered, brought. And, ultimately, he would be moved from office," Holder said.“The notion that a convicted felon, convicted felon, would serve as president of the United States is absurd. It’s simply absurd.”
Trump is set to appear in court on Tuesday, June 13, at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
