Other artists and groups being considered for induction include: Rage Against the Machine, Pat Benatar, Dionne Warwick, Carly Simon, Judas Priest, Beck, Kate Bush, DEVO, Eurythmics, Fela Kuti, MC5 and the New York Dolls.Despite her desire to be removed from the list, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame made it clear that they had no intention of removing her from possible induction.
The foundation said that the museum's title doesn't exclude non-rockers from joining it's hallowed halls.
