Boebert has denied killing a neighbor's dog after being accused on Facebook.on Sunday and described herself as the congresswoman's"next door neighbor" before discussing the death of her dog, Omega.
"Omega was NOT a violent dog," she went on."You Mrs. Boebert are aware of this. Your youngest son spent countless hours playing with her; he even would take her over to your house without our consent. We communicated with him to stop taking her off our property for safety reasons. Mendoza said that Omega left her property early on August 17. She later went looking for the dog but was unable to find her. Mendoza has accused Boebert of shooting the animal.
Mendoza said that Omega had been on Boebert's family property and hurt her goats but she said the dog had previously been taken there by the congresswoman's son.
