Does John Rhys Plumlee have an NFL future? _RyanFowler_ breaks down the UCF QB and the role he could possibly have at the next level. NFLDraft | UCF
Stuck behind Matt Corral at Ole Miss last fall, the obvious move for Plumlee was to start fresh, and UCF head coach Gus Malzahn was more than enthused to add the electric swiss army knife. One of the country’s most dynamic playmakers with the ball in his hands, he and Malik Cunningham put on a show in Week 2, leading their teams in both passing and rushing as Cunningham’s Cardinals took down Plumlee’s Golden Knights.
While scouts will tell you Plumlee is looked upon more right now as a Taysom Hill type of contributor, where his ability to create on the ground takes priority over his prowess through the air, Plumlee has the tools to work with as a passer—it’s just about putting it all together against teams that scouts will chalk down as ‘good bump.
