It’s good news for health-conscious visitors—theme parks aren’t exactly known for serving up nutritious fare. But it is also emblematic of something more: the overall embrace of vegan and plant-based diets. A decade ago, a meatless existence was associated more with wellness obsessives, but more and more, the movement has increasingly become part of mainstream culture. Take the Impossible Burger at Burger King, Meatless Mondays in public schools, orin a partnership with Beyond Meat. The dietary option is slowly integrating into American culture, beyond the aisles of Whole Foods.
