Disney is making moves to become a majority shareholder in streaming platform Hulu

also claims that a new deal with AT&T, owner of WarnerMedia, would see the company add an extra 10% share in the popular streaming platform. Disney already owns 30% of Hulu, so its final stake in the firm will be 70% with the final 30% owned by NBC Universal. This might also answer the questions people had about some of the content that Disney owns which won't be suitable for the company's own-brand streaming service Disney+ which will launch this year. Disney+ will only carry shows suitable for a family audience. Previously, people had questioned why Disney would pull these shows from Netflix if they weren't going to be on its own streaming product - this answers that question.
