Frasier's Seattle apartment has a secret.

However, it remains ever popular, thanks to it being consistently on re-runs, not to mention being accessible via streaming platforms.
As the most decorated sitcom of all time, there were so many memorable things about Frasier. One of them was the titular character's swanky flat at Elliot Bay Towers. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a magnificent view of the Space Needle. However, writer and producer Joe Keenan tells Metro UK that this apartment building doesn't actually exist in real life. ‘The view [of the Seattle Space Needle] was the most luxurious. That apartment, without that view, would not seem that astonishing. That made it seem fabulous – and it doesn’t really exist. It was taken from a vantage point where there is not a building.’ What The Original Frasier Show Gets Wrong About Seattle Seattle was an integral part of the original Frasier show. Aside from the constant reminder that Frasier and Martin lived in the Emerald City because of their unobstructed views of the Space Needle, Frasier's KACL show was also a regular reminder of where the show took place. Frasier would be taking calls from people living in different parts of the city.
Interestingly, however, Frasier didn't film on location. In fact, they only shot one episode in Seattle, which was its 100th outing. Given this, there were some elements of the series that weren't true to the Pacific Northwest experience. For example, thunders were very rare in the Emerald City despite the constant rain.
