IN HIS latest release, aptly titled ‘Grafter,’ Dimzy delves deep into the profound experiences and resilience of being a young Black man navigating the vibrant yet challenging landscape of London.
Dimzy first emerged on the UK Rap and Drill scene back in 2012, but it was in 2014 that he truly made his mark, playing a pivotal role in the genre’s growth. Since then, his trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable. With notable projects like ‘A Glass of Water’ and ‘Dim the Lights’ under his belt, the London native is gearing up for an extraordinary year ahead.2023 year promises to be explosive for Dimzy as he expands his horizons by collaborating with international and European artists. Additionally, he has forged a partnership with Twitch Music, where he has been able to indulge in his love for gaming.
Regarding his latest work, Dimzy shares: “Grafter is about me being a young black man in the UK speaking on what London is like right now. It’s about my determination to win in everything, including the battle to become the best version of myself. I’m constantly pushing forward, regardless of the obstacles I encounter.
