The Rams have their restrictions lifted by the English Football League after more then two years
Derby County have had their transfer embargo lifted by the English Football League after two years under it.
While Derby have not been able to pay transfer fees over the past two seasons, they have been allowed to recruit free agents and loan players.Paul Warne will be the first Rams boss since Phillip Cocu, who was sacked in November 2020, to have a transfer budget to spend. Liam Rosenior then rebuilt the side for their League One campaign by recruiting an almost entirely new squad in the space of a month after Clowes took Derby out of administration.
