A Harris County Sheriff's Office deputy has been taken to the hospital after being shot Wednesday afternoon, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.The scene is unfolding in northeast Harris County. Gonzalez said the patrol deputy was shot at the 13500 block of Homestead.
