Deputies investigating incidents in which man tried to lure children in Spring Valley area [Breaking]
Sheriff’s deputies were investigating two incidents in which a man tried to lure children into his car near an elementary school and a 7-Eleven store in the Spring Valley area, officials said Tuesday.He said the incidents occurred between Feb. 17 and Monday. One incident happened near Kempton Street Elementary School, just north of state Route 54 and east of state Route 125. The other incident occurred near a 7-Eleven store on Campo Road near Cordoba Avenue, north of state Route 94.
The children, whose ages were not disclosed, described the suspect as a Black man in his 30s. They said he was driving a black car, possibly a Dodge Challenger or Charger. One of the children told detectives the car may have tinted windows and a scratch on the rear bumper, Keshka said.The children also reported seeing a passenger in the car, who they described as a White man in his 30s.
