The Senate agreed unanimously on procedures outlining how the 1999 impeachment trial into Clinton was held but absent from the resolution was the calling of specific witnesses. Schumer asks that everything in his letter be wrapped into one resolution, outlining exactly how the trial would run. "Everything I do during this, I’m coordinating with White House Counsel," he said."There will be no difference between the President’s position and our position as to how to handle this."
