Jim Clyburn and former Louisiana Rep. Cedric Richmond, who is now a top DNC official and Biden political adviser.” Richmond once blasted the passing of the voting reforms, stating, “We’re going to keep fighting. The vice president will continue to lead it. You will see us continue to meet with stakeholders, galvanize people. You will see the Justice Department continue to monitor — sue when necessary — to protect the precious right to vote.” Clyburn called them “the new Jim Crow.”
