Shapiro said the positive result came when he took a precautionary COVID-19 test Monday night.
Attorney General Joshua Shapiro, the presumptive Democratic nominee for governor, announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I’m experiencing some mild symptoms and will continue serving the people of Pennsylvania as I isolate at home,” he posted to Twitter Tuesday morning, about 90 minutes after the polls opened in Pennsylvania.
