People in a part of Nottingham have welcomed plans to open a new takeaway on their high street. Shoppers in Sherwood have spoken out about a new takeaway coming to the area.
The Chick and Shakes website states that the shop will be open seve ndays a week and will be open all day and all night. It isn’t clear when the shop will open but the Instagram page for the shop says you'd expect to find ‘Original Handmade Crispy Chicken’ there.Cameron Hall, 26 lives in Sherwood. The software developer said: “I’m not surprised it’s a takeaway, hopefully it’ll do well.
Other shops that have closed on Sherwood’s high street recently include: Ohannes Burger, Mr Thai and O’More. Sue Brown, 44 lives in Carrington. Sue added: “There’s been a handful of closures in Sherwood so hopefully they’re all back up and running soon.”
