An update from Nottingham Travelwise stated: "Police have closed Western Boulevard southbound in between Aspley Lane and Beechdale Road. Emergency services are turning back all vehicles northbound so please use an alternative route. "This is leading to delays back to Nuthall Road Western Boulevard." The road has since re-opened but drivers were warned of residual delays.
