in the death of Shamar William Washington, 17, who was shot in the back of head, beaten, stabbed repeatedly with an ice pick and his throat slashed. His shoeless, partially snow-covered, frozen body was found by hunters on Jan. 13, 2001, down an embankment off Orchard Drive in a rural part of Hemlock Twp. in Columbia County.

The friend claimed Quinn told him he and another male robbed a Black drug dealer who drew a gun. They wrestled it from him and shot him and also stabbed him repeatedly with an ice pick. One of those identified in the affidavit as having been interviewed last month was Quinn’s ex-girlfriend Jillian Eminhizer who had spoken to police in 2001. She claimed she could not recall the specifics of the killing but said it was “gruesome.”

Quinn himself was stabbed three times as held down the victim. They moved the body to either Pine Creek or Jersey Shore and later used the pickup to transport it to the Bloomsburg area.
