My husband and I have a 2.5-year-old daughter, and we will have a new baby in October. Last year, my brother-in-law got sick and has been in and out of rehab facilities since then. We agreed to take in his dog, but the dog is not good with kids—it’s growled and barked at our daughter.
I’m afraid this dog situation has damaged our marriage. I feel really disappointed to the point that I don’t imagine a future with my husband anymore. Please tell me if I am being unreasonable or how can I make him understand?I’m a dog lover through and through, but I’ll say this: That dog has to go. I simply don’t like that your husband isn’t doing his part to ensure the dog is taken care of properly.
