Dear Care and Feeding: How Should I Respond to Sexist Co-Workers Who Think I Should Be a Stay-at-Home Mom?My 9-year-old daughter has had a tumultuous relationship with a friend for the last four or so years. The intensity has always confused me, but this year their fights have become more extreme. My advice has been to try to cool off the friendship gently. However, my daughter feels very drawn to this friend, and apparently her friend feels the same because they can’t seem to stay apart.
My son, “Jake,” was in fourth grade last year and made friends with a fifth grader, “Mark.” We were relatively new in town, and it was great that Jake had made a friend. Jake wanted to invite Mark to play, but he didn’t know his last name; I gave Jake a slip of paper with my number and email on it to give to Mark, but he kept forgetting to give it to him.
My husband thinks I should talk to Luke’s mom, telling her that playing Star Wars has given our daughter nightmares, making it very clear that the kids can’t play that game anymore. I’m frustrated, too, because I would never expose my preschool-age kid to such violence and am upset that I have to deal with the repercussions of someone else’s parenting decisions.

Nation Admits They Only Care About Freedom Of Speech For Imparting Information About ‘Star Wars’ ShitLOS ANGELES—Emphasizing that a democracy must guarantee its people the right to openly discuss the fact that Episode 9 will be titled The Rise Of Skywalker without fear of censorship, the nation admitted Friday that they only care about free speech for imparting details about Star Wars shit. “The Bill of Rights guarantees Americans the freedom to assemble, namely at Comic-Con, and the freedom to speak, ideally during a Q&A panel with J.J. Abrams or George Lucas where we maybe even get to see a little teaser footage,” said Cleveland resident Doug Mandeville, 51, echoing a populace that confirmed it would fight tooth and nail to protect the First Amendment inasmuch as it applies to an individual’s right to post crap on Instagram about the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game. “We owe so much to the Founding Fathers for taking such great pains to ensure we would all one day be able to go online and receive free and fair access to the film’s trailer, stills of Billy Dee Williams’ return as Lando, and information on how Rian Johnson’s vision for the franchise may have been altered. Other than that, the entire U.S. Constitution is something we could take or leave.” At press time, the nation stressed the freedom of speech does not apply to spoilers.
