I-40B will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating east- and westbound travel between the eastbound I-40 on-and off ramps at Exit 121 and the westbound I-40 off-ramp at Exit 123 .The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.The restrictions are needed for maintenance crews to apply a fog-seal treatment to the roadway, which protects and extends the life of the pavement.
