A new Daredevil cosplay looking eerily like Charlie Cox's MCU hero is here to wish fans a merry Christmas.
As audiences await the character's return, Matt Murdock celebrates Christmas in a Daredevil cosplay that eerily looks so much like Charlie Cox's iteration of the Marvel hero. Arguably the best casting choice from the Marvel/Netflix partnership, there was understandable disappointment when it was announced that the collaboration would end, as it meant that Cox's stint as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen was also ending.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Given that, anticipation mounts on seeing Cox again as Murdock again, regardless if it's on the big or small screen, the latter already confirmed with Disney+'s 18-episode Daredevil: Born Again show in 2024 and the Echo show. In the meantime, Reddit user, u/Confident_Door8862, took it upon himself to dress up as the character in celebration of Christmas.
Kevin Feige previously said that Spider-Man and Daredevil will spearhead the street-level pocket of the MCU, which could mean a team-up between the New York-based heroes in the near future. There have been rumbles about Marvel Studios' take on the characters being watered down compared to its Netflix counterpart, and that's a big cause for concern for fans who like the darker grittier version of Daredevil.
For now, the actor is gearing up to begin production for his own Disney+ show. Cox says he hasn't read Daredevil: Born Again scripts, but confirms that filming will be starting soon. While it may still be a while before the series hits the streaming platform, Marvel Studios can still utilize Daredevil in other ways, namely the Hawkeye spinoff show centered on Alaqua Cox's Echo, which is slated for a 2023 premiere.
