The Rangers big money summer signing was introduced at half-time for Cyriel Dessers and took his big moment when it arrived in the third minute of added on time to spark wild scenes at Ibrox.
Danilo has opened up on Philippe Clement's half-time message against Hearts as he hailed James Tavernier's contribution as 'brilliant'.
Skipper Tavernier was handed a golden chance to level with the last kick of the first half and despite sending Zander Clark the wrong way his effort struck the post and stayed out.
