The businessman said he will 'absolutely' continue his campaign to become London mayor after denying an allegation of groping
The allegations have cast the Conservative party’s vetting process under major scrutiny, with critics suggesting Mr Korski should not have made it onto the Tory shortlist for London mayor.
Mr Korski insisted on Tuesday that he “didn’t do what’s been alleged” and claimed he even wrote to Ms Goodwin following their meeting at No 10. “I believe firmly that I’m innocent,” he said. “You know, I have denied these allegations and I believe that it’s only fair for somebody who is innocent to be allowed to carry on with what they’re trying to do.”about significant discrepancies between his and Ms Goodwin’s versions of the meeting that took place in 2013, Mr Korski added: “I don’t know how she could have come away with that perception. I certainly didn’t leave the meeting, feeling that I had done anything wrong.
