Dan Azeez came to boxing whilst studying for a degree in accounting and finance
“I’m breaking down barriers and I think I’m an ambassador for the sport,” Azeez said.
“You get a lot of boxers and athletes in general nowadays who are more articulate, they go to school and even run businesses.“It can be a short career in this sport, but I’m glad I have that background because it helps me do my taxes now that I’ve signed with BOXXER.
“I haven’t been in a few 50/50 fights, I’ve been in a lot.” Azeez said, “I’m not afraid of losing, but it’s not just about that, I want to prove that I’m one of the best and to be the best you need to beat the best.“Everyone’s doing their own thing and the cream always rises to the top, so whether you’ve been spoon-fed or not you’re going to get found out later on down the line.
“I remember having to go around my local area and sell myself, telling everyone that I’m a future world champion so they should get behind me and come and watch me fight and I won’t let them down.”
