The Buffalo Bills player collapsed on a football field in early January after being hit in the chest, prompting him to enter cardiac arrest.
Bronny, however, remains hospitalized, though a rep for the James family confirmed to Page Six that he is no longer being treated in the intensive care unit.
“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU,” the spokesperson’s statement began.“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family, and we will update media when there is more information.”, cardiac arrest occurs when the heart “malfunctions and stops beating unexpectedly.
