Jason Crouse was heartbroken when he got to the Anfield turnstiles
Jason Crouse made the 3,000 mile trip from his native Canada to watch the Reds for his 50th birthday. The dad-of-two fell in love with the six-time Champions League winners after watching Didi Hamann play 25 years ago.
Jason told the ECHO: "I have seen them play a few times in Canada but it is not the same and my wife thought it would be fantastic to go for a once-in-a-lifetime trip as I only turn 50 once. I did look on the official website but could not get tickets so went to Live Football Tickets. Jason from Calgary said: "Before I went over I was in the pub with other Liverpool fans and it was what I had always dreamed of, the experience I wanted... I went to fan support when my ticket was denied and they said there was nothing they could do, they see it all the time.
