A father-of-two downloaded more than 9,000 child abuse images under the username Jimmy Savile, a court heard.
The 53-year-old was at home with his wife and children when police, acting on National Crime Agency intelligence, arrested him and seized his devices in January last year.Children depicted in the material were aged up to 11, a court heard. Joseph Pond, who was living in Morpeth, Northumberland, at the time, admitted three counts of making indecent images.
