Northumberland County DA Tony Matulewicz missed the March 7 filing deadline by about 30 minutes.
SUNBURY – The two-term district attorney of Northumberland County is seeking a court order to get his name on the May primary ballot as a Republican candidate for reelection.
They were submitted at 5:01 p.m. and were accepted as a courtesy pending review and a check the applicable code. “The petitions for District Attorney Matulewicz will not be accepted because they were handed in after that time.”
