After it makes landfall Friday near the city of Puri, the storm is projected to move northeast along the coastal area towards Bangladesh, dropping"extremely heavy falls" along the way.that 800 shelters have been opened to help accommodate hundreds of thousands of people needing shelter. “We’ve been preparing plans for the last few days to ensure that all the people who are vulnerable will be shifted to our cyclone centers,” Sethi said.
