Van driver Mohammed “did not see” Mr Conn travelling from her offside.Mr Conn also suffered ligament damage in his neck as well as three fractured vertebrae.
The court heard that Mr Conn was travelling home when he approached a mini roundabout on Woodside Avenue.Prosecutor Caitlin O’Hare said: “Mohammed brought her van to a stop but failed to look properly for oncoming traffic to her offside.“This caused him to be thrown onto the carriageway.” Miss O’Hare stated that he suffered three fractures vertabraes in his chest and a torn ligament in his neck.
