Driver involved in the crash fully cooperating in the investigation, authorities say
A bicyclist was killed when he was struck by a car Monday evening in Sunnyvale, according to police.
Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety personnel responded at 5:11 p.m to a report of a collision near Wolfe Road and Inverness Way, according to a department news release. A male cyclist was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. Authorities said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash, a block from Apple headquarters, and cooperated with investigators.
