The 2.01 patch for Cyberpunk 2077 is now live, which should stop PS5 becoming corrupted. As stated previously, the fix won't apply to any saves created before the patch is installed.
The patch also contains a number of bug fixes related to Phantom Liberty quests, plus overall performance improvements for all platforms. The patch notes for 2.01 are available to read on theis being rolled out on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S! It fixes the most common issues players have encountered and improves overall performance on all platforms, especially in Dogtown., update 2.01 should stop instances of corrupt saves on PS5 by increasing the maximum save file size limit.
Elsewhere in the update, CD Projekt is promising performance improvements on both PC and consoles, particularly in the Dogtown area, as well as a range of more specific fixes, included one especially specific issue that would see V sinking through the elevator floor and plummeting to their doom when attempting to reach the 42nd floor in Cyberpunk 2077's The Heist mission - but only in instances of low FPS.
