The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is offering $20 dog adoptions through July 16 in an attempt to make room for all the runaway dogs they expect to house when Fourth of July fireworks scare them away from home 🐶

Tayson is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky mix that was available for adoption at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter as of Thursday. The shelter has reduced adoption fees to $20 through July 16 in order to make room for an expected influx of dogs over the Fourth of July holiday.

She hopes reduced fees will encourage families to adopt a dog and create some of that space, but she said the shelter could use temporary foster homes as well. Adoption fees are normally $95, but they will drop to $20 through July 16. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and come with a dog license and current rabies tag.. On Thursday, the website showed mixes of various ages and sizes for Siberian Huskies, terriers, bull dogs, rottweilers and poodles.
