Despite Ohio’s prohibition on local bag bans, Cuyahoga County seems determined to waste taxpayer dollars trying to force residents to switch to more expensive bags with worse environmental impacts.

Lifecycle assessments consistently show that traditional plastic bag at the checkout counter are the option with the fewest environmental impacts. They have many reuses at home and these American-made products are 100% recyclable when dropped off at convenient bins at your local grocery store.
