Date confirmed for watfordfc cup tie at Stevenage
It will be the first time that Watford have played in the opening round of the league cup since 2014 when, ironically, they also played away at Stevenage and won 1-0.
The cup tie means the pre-season friendly at Stevenage, scheduled for July 18, has now been cancelled. However, the Hornets start their summer campaign next week when they visit Meadow Park to face Boreham Wood, where Watford legend Lloyd Doyley is a member of the coaching staff. Tickets for that game are £15 for adults and OAPs, £10 for Under-18s, £5 for Under-12s and £2 for Under-5s.
