When Can Reid Appear On Criminal Minds: Evolution Because Gubler's absence on the Criminal Minds reboot wasn't intentional, it increases the chances of him reprising the role of Reid. Messer and some of his old co-stars also claim they are in contact with him, which further makes this more possible. However, chances are that Reid's possible return won't happen until at least Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2.
