Two fire engines remain at the scene this morning following the blaze.
Crews were alerted to the incident at Elba Lane Nursery on St Michael's Lane near Springfield Gardens in the East End of Glasgow at around 9.55pm yesterday.

"Officers were called to the blaze around 9.55pm on Tuesday, October 3. Due to the smoke from the building, residents in the nearby streets are advised to keep their windows closed until further notice.Top news stories today The Record approached the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for comment.
