The modern era player finalists are determined by a vote of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee that began with 129 nominees.was named a senior finalist for the Class of 2023.
Howley was a Super Bowl MVP and a five-time first-team All-Pro selection and six-time Pro Bowler. Howley is in the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor. Howley joins former Jets defensive end Joe Klecko, Bengals cornerback Ken Riley, and coach Don Coryell as senior finalists.since being eligible for the ballot last year
