Cowboys prepare for NFC East rematch, Mike McCarthy reaches coaching milestone
Thursday afternoon, the Cowboys face the New York Giants in the last part of a three-games-in-12-days stretch.
When they last met the Giants on Sept. 26, quarterback Daniel Jones was giving the defense fits with his running ability. Jones gained 79 yards on nine attempts in the Giants’ loss. What doesn't get talked about enough is Mike McCarthy is just three wins from surpassing Sean Payton for 22nd place in league history in victories and could move into the Top 20. Joe Gibbs is No. 20 at 154 wins. Mike Tomlin is currently No. 19 at 157 wins.
